Q: What is CLA, and what does it do?

Conjugated Linoleic Acid, also known as CLA, is a slightly modified form of the unsaturated, omega-6 fatty acid. It has become well-known as a supplement that may help with your efforts to lose fat. It can do things that other weight-loss supplements simply can’t by working on two fronts: First, it activates enzymes in your body that melt away body fat. Second, it suppresses your appetite, cutting down on cravings and helping you eat less.

Essentially, CLA could affect body fat levels by reducing fat storage pockets, and helping increase lean body tissue. Furthermore, there is evidence to suggest that it can reduce the number and size of fat cells, help reduce the activity of enzymes that store fat, help speed up the disintegration of fat cells, and help fat burn faster.

In short, it helps people burn fat, speed up weight loss, retain and build lean muscle mass and improve immune function. It has also been shown to build muscle by boosting nitric oxide production. All in the most natural way possible without any noted side effects.

Q: Do all CLA Safflower Oil supplements work?

Unfortunately, no. Many fly-by-night companies just ride these diet/health trends, manufacturing inferior products with the wrong ingredients and proportions. They often use cheap fillers and binders that can block the desired effects of CLA.

Q: What should I look for?

  • It must contain 85% standardized CLA derived from Safflower Oil.
  • It must have no fillers, binders or any other artificial ingredients.
  • It must be 100% pure with no added ingredients that might water down the product.
  • And you need to take a minimum of 2,000mg a day (1 x 1,000 capsule, 2 times a day).

Q: What about safety? Are there side effects of CLA Safflower Oil to watch out for?

From our research, we did not find any interference between CLA Safflower Oil and other medications or conditions. However, we still recommend consulting with a physician if you have a medical condition or take medications on a regular basis. Also, pregnant or nursing women are advised not to take CLA.

Q: How do I take CLA Safflower Oil?

You should take 2,000mg a day (1 x 1,000mg capsule, 2 times a day). Some people like taking the complete dosage all at once, but we recommend spacing it out to get the most from CLA’s amazingappetite suppressing power. As with any type of supplement, you should not exceed the recommended daily dosage, since this can pose serious health risks.

Q: How long will it take to see the effects?

Some customers we spoke to reported seeing results in as little as one week. For others, it took about a month. Results also seem to be a bit different for each person. Some show unbelievable change right away, while others don’t lose as much or as fast. Many of the reputable brands we reviewed offer refunds to customers who don’t see the results they want in any given time frame.

Q: How much do CLA Safflower Oil products cost?

The cost of CLA varies based on the manufacturer. Many of them are worthless, just random companies with cheap quality products trying to cash in on the diet/health trends. Some of these companies sell their supplements for as much as $100 per bottle, which we think is a bit too high. Most of the really good supplements we tested fell in the $40-$50 range. Others may appear cheaper, but they often boast a one-month supply when they’re really giving you half the recommended dosage with plenty of fillers and binders.

Q: What’s the best CLA Safflower Oil brand to buy?

Each person will see varying results with different products, so it’s hard to say offhand which is best. However, we particularly liked Research Verified CLA.
